How do we know what the next season will bring?

At Tatra Business Insight, we don't tell fortunes from coffee grounds. Since September 2017, we have been collecting hard data from the Tatras. We know how many tourists will enter Podhale on a specific Tuesday in November. We analyzed the behavior of 31,420 guests in 2023 alone. We see the whole picture, and not just what is happening on Krupówki. Our forecasts are based on 14 different data sources, from fuel prices to actual reservations in local guesthouses. We verify facts before others start whispering about them.

Predicting trends is pure mathematics

For us, numbers count, not opinions. If in March 2024 the number of inquiries for accommodation in Zakopane dropped by 11.4%, we speak about it straight. No sugarcoating. Thanks to this, facility owners know when to lower prices, and when to keep them high, because demand will be there anyway. In the last winter season, we helped 26 companies avoid downtime in the dead period between January and February. Our effectiveness in predicting occupancy was 89.7% last year.

Monitoring the purchasing power of your customers
