Truth lies in the street, not in tables

At Tatra Business Insight we know that sitting behind a desk closes your eyes to reality. Since May 2017 we traverse Krupówki and the surrounding trails to find out what people really say about local businesses. We are not interested in surveys filled out on the run. We focus on 12 in-depth conversations with your real customers. Each interview lasts an average of 42 minutes. This is the time when people stop being polite and start being honest. We see the whole picture of your company through the eyes of the people who leave money with you.

Mystery shopper without mercy

We verify facts. Our team sends people into the field who pretend to be ordinary tourists or local residents. In 2023, we conducted 147 such visits to commercial and gastronomic facilities in the Tatra district. We don't look for holes in everything for the sake of it. We look for errors that cost you real cash. It could be a waiter who doesn't suggest dessert, or a receptionist who doesn't know the swimming pool opening hours. Hard data from the Tatras show that such details reduce your utarg by an average of 14% on a monthly basis.

Concrete numbers instead of hunches

In February 2024, we studied one of the larger taverns on the main street. The owner thought people were complaining about prices. We did 30 short interviews at the exit and it turned out that 26 people were delighted with the prices, but 19 of them will not return because the music was too loud and they couldn't talk. These are facts that you won't read in a sales report. Without sugarcoating, we show you where customers are escaping. Our reports are short, specific, and ready for immediate implementation.

What does the research process look like?

  • Initial conversation and determining what concerns you most in the company.
  • Preparing the interview scenario (usually takes us 3 business days).
  • Going into the field – we collect opinions where your customers are.
  • Analysis of collected material and catching repeating patterns.
  • Handing over the report with specific conclusions for improvement.

The average time for a full study is 16 business days. We don't promise miracles, but we guarantee that after reading our report you will know more about your customers than in the last 3 years of running the business.
