About Karolina
Karolina joined Tatra Business Insight in April 2018. She grew up in Zakopane, so she knows the local market inside out. She doesn't analyze the world only from behind a monitor. Her element is the field. In 2023 alone, she conducted 87 mystery shopper audits in facilities from Gliczarów to Kościelisko. We verify facts where others rely on hunches.
In our company, Karolina is responsible for obtaining hard data at the source. When a client asks why guests don't return to their guesthouse, she goes there and stays overnight. In March 2024, her report helped the owner of a large facility detect that 19% of staff ignored cleanliness standards after 8:00 PM. These are hard data from the Tatras that allow a business to be fixed.
Karolina specializes in in-depth interviews. Last winter season, she devoted 312 hours to direct conversations with tourists on Krupówki and near the ski jump. Thanks to this, we know that 64% of respondents were looking for services that are lacking in Zakopane. Without sugarcoating, she points out errors in communication and image. We see the whole picture because Karolina reaches details that others overlook.
Her approach is purely practical. Karolina's reports do not have 100 pages of fluff. They are concrete lists of problems and opportunities. Since September 2017, when she took up professional analytics, she has helped 42 local entrepreneurs understand what customers really think of them. Her work allows for the elimination of errors that really cost companies thousands of zlotys a month.
Privately, Karolina values specifics and punctuality. Her average time to prepare a full report from a site visit is 72 hours after finishing the study. At Tatra Business Insight, we make sure that every piece of information is checked twice. If Karolina says the standard in a given place is poor, she has 15 photos and 3 audio recordings to prove it. This is exactly our method: zero theory, pure practice.
